We cruise through the Elaphiti archipelago towards Mljet National Park, mooring at Pomena or Polače. These are the gateways to the park's famous saltwater lakes.

  • Swimming in the warm saltwater lakes
  • Cycling through the pine forests around the lakes
  • Visit the St. Mary monastery on the islet
Captain's Tip

Rent a bike in Pomena. The path around the Great Lake is flat, shaded, and incredibly scenic.

Monday

Mljet to Lastovo Nature Park

We depart Mljet for the remote island of Lastovo, a protected Park of Nature. We anchor in one of its secluded bays surrounded by untouched wilderness.

  • Hiking up to the Hum viewpoint
  • Stargazing from the flybridge
Captain's Tip

Ask the captain to find a bay away from the main port for absolute privacy and a private swim.

Tuesday

Lastovo to Korčula Town

We sail to Korčula, the alleged birthplace of Marco Polo. We moor near the old town, allowing you to explore its fish-bone street layout designed to filter the wind.

"Step back into the Venetian era. The stone walls, towers, and vibrant squares of Korčula buzz with history and life."
Highlights
  • Walking tour of the Old Town
  • Cocktails at a tower bar
  • Visit the Marco Polo house
Captain's Tip

Try the local white wine, Pošip, which is native to this island. It pairs perfectly with the local seafood.

Wednesday

Korčula to Okuklje (Mljet)

We head back south to the island of Mljet, this time anchoring in the protected bay of Okuklje. It is a safe haven popular with sailors.

"A return to tranquility. Okuklje is a sleepy, traditional bay where time seems to stand still."
