Krka NP

Waterfalls & Nature

Krka National Park is a lush oasis of cascading waterfalls, emerald pools, and ancient monasteries. Uniquely for a National Park, it can be approached directly by yacht via the Krka River canyon, making the journey there just as spectacular as the destination itself.

The River Cruise

Visiting Krka National Park by yacht offers an experience land-based tourists miss entirely: the cruise up the Krka River. Leaving the sea at Šibenik, you navigate through a dramatic limestone canyon, passing sheer cliffs and mussel farms, winding your way inland towards the town of Skradin.

The water changes from salt to fresh, and the landscape transforms from arid coast to lush riverbank. It is one of the most scenic river journeys in Europe, accessible to superyachts and offering a completely different perspective of the Croatian landscape.

Skradinski Buk

From the marina in Skradin, a private wooden boat takes you to Skradinski Buk, the park's crown jewel. It is a massive, clear natural pool fed by a network of 17 waterfalls cascading over travertine barriers.

Walking the wooden boardwalks that crisscross the rushing water offers an immersive experience of nature's power. The sound of the falls is omnipresent, and the air is cool and mist-filled, providing a refreshing escape from the summer heat.

Gourmet Skradin

Skradin is a favorite stop for the yachting elite (Bill Gates is a regular visitor) not just for its beauty, but for its gastronomy. The town is famous for 'Skradinski Rižot' (Skradin Risotto), a dish traditionally prepared by men over 12 hours. It is so tender and rich it is said to defy description.

We recommend docking in the ACI Marina Skradin for the night to enjoy a slow dinner in the town's charming stone streets, pairing the risotto with local Debit white wine.
